Even in Europe, the world leader in e-waste recycling, only 54 percent of e-waste is officially reported as collected and recycled.

This option allows you to trade-in your old laptop for a refund. Whether your laptop came from NovaCustom or not, we offer you an easy and environmentally friendly way to get rid of your old laptop.
How does it work?
Our Sustainable E-Waste Trade-In Programme offers a simple and streamlined way to give your old laptop a new life, while also rewarding you for your eco-friendly choice.
When you decide to order a new laptop from us, you can indicate that you want to trade-in your old laptop. You do this during the ordering process. You have the choice between a laptop from NovaCustom or a laptop that’s not from us.
What happens with a laptop that does come from NovaCustom?
If your old laptop is from NovaCustom, choose this option during ordering. A drop-down menu will then appear where you can specify your laptop model, current condition and serial number. After placing your order, you will receive a shipping label by e-mail. You then have 14 days to ship your laptop. Your laptop and details will then be verified and the refund will be paid out within a few days.
What happens with a laptop that does not come from us?
If your old laptop is not from NovaCustom, select this option while ordering. Specifying the model and serial number is not necessary in this case. After you place your order, it will be processed and you will receive a free shipping label by email. You then have 14 days after receiving your new laptop to return your old laptop. You can check the refund amount by using our configurator.
What happens with my old laptop after that?
At NovaCustom, we take responsibility for the laptops we receive. Once a laptop arrives to us, it is carefully inspected to determine the best next steps. If the laptop is no longer suitable for the reuse of any components, we proceed to recycle it. We ensure that the laptop is recycled in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner by our partner company, IT recycling. This process includes disassembling the laptop and recycling the various components, such as metals, plastics and circuit boards. In this way, we contribute to reducing electronic waste and preserving precious resources.
