VJCM Hello, thank you for your reply.
The line should be appended to the file. So you can run:
sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
and then scroll all the way down to the last character of the file. Now hit the Enter key for a new line in the file. That line should be filled with the following content:
options snd-hda-intel power_save=0
After you have appended this line, save the file with the shortcut Ctrl+X. The file editor asks if you would like to save the file, confirm that with the Y key. Then hit Enter (without changing the file location).
Once these changes have been made, you will need to restart your computer to check if the problem has been solved.
If not, you can execute the exact same steps but with other content of the file's last line. You can try these options instead:
options snd-hda-intel model=clevo-p950
options snd-hda-intel model=clevo-p950 power_save=0
Again, the computer needs to be restarted after changing the file.
One of the three options is likely to solve the problem. I would be happy if someone can confirm that.
I could not reproduce the problem on the PD50 Series with RTX-3060 graphics, Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS while having installed all updates and running kernel 6.5.0-14-generic
